I am so pleased to have heard about your annual greyhound and lurcher show. I realise I have found out too late for this year, but will definetely look to take part in next years. It is a shame the only shows I have found, have been greyhounds only.. meaning my other dog (a lurcher) gets left at home :(

It's been pointed out to me by a keen eyed SLR trustee that Fella, (racing name Fellas Glory) in Dogs for Rehoming bears a remarkable resemblance to my Murphy, (racing name Fellas Spirit).

This is indeed the case, & they are in fact half brothers! A bit of a coincidence that they should both end up in Harlow, since I adopted Murphy whilst living in Dorset.

Murphy will be at the show tomorrow, (he won Best Greyhound Under 4 last year), & 'twould be great if his half brother also put in an appearance!

Thank you for showing us the wonderful "Casper" yesterday, he is definately the lad for us! Have already purchased his obscenely large dog bed (and he will have our old double duvet folded up in it and plenty of toys). We cant wait to pick him up on 24th May. We have also had great fun looking up his past on the greyhound database and am hoping we find a YOUTUBE film of him in action before his well deserved retirement. Louise & Paul ;o)

We've recently adopted Jo (now Jo-Jo) and just wanted to say a huge thank you to Harlow Hounds. Jo-Jo was extremely nervous when we first got her home, but is now really enjoying her retirement. She loves going on her walks and of course: sleeping - although we have to keep an eye on her as she will collect anything lying around, soft toys, juice cups, socks and even the TV remote! But we all love her to bits, especially the children. Thanks again.

We've recently adopted Recognition and renamed him Stiggy. He's settled in really well with our other dog Lenny the Labrador. The two of them love playing together in the garden. Thanks a lot to everyone at Harlow Hounds.

Hi We're thinking of adopting one of your lovely greyhounds but have 2 ,so wondered if it would be possible for them to live happily together as our rabbits spend time running round the garden?
Harlow Hounds replies: Many people have greyhounds and cats living happily together and even a few rabbits and greyhounds. However it is a big thing to expect any adult dog to be OK with rabbits running around the garden. It would be best to see if you can seperate your garden securely as even if a greyhound (or any breed of dog) was trained to be OK with the rabbits I would never leave them unsupervised.

Why not give us a call to chat in more detail about your circumstances?

Lovely to hear from you Lyn - maybe you can start fostering again in Wales - I'm sure I can put you in touch with the right people!
